Switch from O2 to ID & my data isnt working and i cant call anyone

I have just done the switch today from O2 to ID, keeping my o2 number. My O2 account stopped working this morning & I put my new ID sim in turned my phone off for 10 minutes and noticed I had no service and data wasn’t working. An hour later I turned it on & off again still didn’t work, and noticed I can’t call anyone. 7 hours later my data and outbound calls still isn’t working. Any help would be much appreciated.

A number port can take up until 10pm to complete. It might just be a case of wait and see from here.

To add to this in the top left of my screen there’s 2 boxes with P & B in what does this mean?

You have two SIMs or eSIMs installed in your phone, which is why you see a P and B in the top left corner of your screen. To resolve this issue, remove or delete the O2 SIM/eSIM and perform a network reset.

Hi, I have removed my o2 sim out of my phone and my o2 account has been finished. How do I do the network reset? Thanks

Network Reset

A network reset is a troubleshooting step that can be used to resolve various issues related to network connectivity.

What Happens During a Network Reset

During a network reset, saved Wi-Fi networks and VPN settings are erased. After the reset, it is necessary to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords and configure any other network settings as needed.

Performing a Network Reset

The steps to perform a network reset vary depending on the device being used:

  • For an iPhone: Open Settings, tap General, tap Transfer or Reset iPhone, tap Reset, select Reset Network Settings, enter the passcode, then tap Reset Network Settings.
  • For a Samsung Galaxy: Open Settings, tap General management, tap Reset, select Reset Network Settings.
  • For Most other Android phones: Open Settings, tap System, tap Advanced, tap Reset options, select Reset Network Settings.

Purpose of Network Reset

A network reset can help resolve issues such as:

  • Incorrect phone number being displayed when making calls or texts
  • Failure to send or receive texts (SMS)
  • Issues with Wi-Fi calling
  • Problems with roaming or mobile data connectivity
