switch not working

Switch from O2 to ID mobile did not work on the day it was supposed to despite a reset of my phone. I’m in Menorca currently.

Hi ​@amyneale was the day it was supposed to switch over while you were in Menorca?

Yes it was, and I’ve spoken on the live chat and followed the steps they recommended and it’s not worked. They’re saying because I’m near the coast I don’t have service but that the switch has happened.

When are you due back in the UK ​@amyneale 

It may not be coming through or delayed with you being connected to a foreign network?

Not until Sunday - and I need the roaming sorted before then. I have my roaming on and I have roaming in my plan.

Hi there ​@amyneale, although the switch may have happened, unfortunately, we’d advise customers not to be abroad when requesting a switch, as it could cause issues until you’re back in the UK. 

 

Did you use the iD SIM card in the UK before going abroad?
