Switching day -

Due to switch over from O2 today, not changed so far. Do I need to switch my phone to the esim first, then wait for my old number to transfer over? Got a notification from O2 that I was leaving, PAC provided at sign up. I’ve tried restarting the phone several times. Also can’t get OTP for accessing the ID app. Text never arrives?

    ​@khitomer  Welcome your switch over onto IDMobile can be up to 10pm on your switch over date and even the following day I'm afraid. If your device has currently more than one sim you'll need to remove all other's and have just the IDMobile sim in your phone unless your old network and number is still actively working .

    Old Esim details can be deleted if your using an esim on your phone.

    Is your O2 SIM till active?

    o2 sim still active. Last time I changed network provider there was no need to change sim? Don’t understand whay I would need the esim which is a different number?

    Sorted. I had to switch to esim first! I assume I can now remove old O2 sim?

    If your O2 SIM is still working, then your number port hasn’t completed yet. 

     

     

    FYI - You don’t need to insert your iD Mobile SIM or activate the eSIM for the porting process to happen.
