trying to purchase esim after arriving in UK

Good day.

I've moved to the UK from Bermuda about 4 months ago now. I've got a pay as you go sim with O2 and i'm attempting to purchase an eSIM with ID mobile.

How do I go about the process of getting this number ported over and being able to pay monthly? I have a phone number. I have a bank account. I have a PAC code. I don't understand why my application is being rejected. I cannot give 3 years of my living history in the UK, as I haven't lived in the UK for 3 years.

What is the process here? It's frustrating as hell.

    Hi @Smartalec5595,

Thank you for your message. I am very sorry for the frustration this has caused.

The automatic rejection happens because our system runs an automated credit check that looks for a 3-year UK address history to verify your identity. Since you have been here for 4 months, the system cannot find enough data, which triggers an automatic decline.

    Thanks,
