Unable to register on ID mobile app

I have tried on a number of occasions to register on the app but when it gets to the part that asks for my ID mobile number last name and date of birth, it sends me a message saying not recognised. I have tried with the original ID mobile number that I was given and with the number that I transferred across. Any assistance would be appreciated.
