Want to contact ID mobile by telephone

Hi,

Ca anyone give me ID mobile telephone number please?  My husband died suddenly on Saturday during a gravel cycling event.  He was an ID mobile customer and I am trying to trace his phone.  The people who tried to resusitate him said it was in his cycling top back pocket but it didn’t arrive at hospital with him.  It would be useful to find out where it last pinged, as I believe it will be the hospital and it will help me locate it.  There will be data on it to help understand his last moments

    Hi @JCooperwoman,

Firstly, I'd like to offer my sincere condolences for your loss. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's passing.

Unfortunately, iD Mobile doesn't track customer devices and isn't able to provide live or historical location information for a handset. We therefore wouldn't be able to identify where the phone last "pinged" or its last known location.

If the phone was an iPhone, you may be able to locate it using Find My iPhone via iCloud. If it was an Android device, you may be able to use Find My Device through the Google account linked to the phone.

It may also be worthwhile contacting:

    • The organisers of the cycling event.
    • The ambulance service involved.
    • The hospital that received your husband.
    • The local police, in case the device was handed in as lost property.

They may be able to help trace the phone or confirm whether it was recovered.

I'm very sorry that we can't assist further with locating the device, but I hope you're able to recover it and the information it contains.

    Take care.

    Regards,

Thanks Gemma,  The phone has been located, it is with the coroner.  I just need to get them to give me it back.
