WHAT A JOKE!! ID mobile attached PAC code to a closed account

Couldn’t enter a date for switch to ID from o2 to port in my old number so the agent on the chat did this for me. After the date passed and no contact or sign of switch I contacted ID via chat. 2 hours later and me having to push for answers and action to be taken, I’m told they have attached my old number to a closed account and they cannot reactivate that account and can’t internally transfer my old number. I asked for a PAC code and said I would go to another provider and they can’t provide me with a PAC code either. When calling my number it says it is not recognised  Absolutely fuming!

ID said, eventually after I pushed for something to be done, that the technical team will look at this but takes 48 (business) hours so as nearly the weekend 4 days! Having already been without number for 36 hours as a self employed person it is totally unacceptable. Have also raised a complaint which will take 7 days to respond!’ 😭

 

The agent on the chat wanted me to accept £10, then increased to £20 to resolve - NO THANK YOU!! I want my old number!!! Just hoping the technical team can sort out or I’ve be off to the Communications Ombudsman.
