Looking to remove an old eSIM profile? Whether you are upgrading your phone or leaving the network, here is how to safely delete the eSIM from your device settings.
How do I delete my eSIM?
Tap ‘Learn More’ and follow the steps for the phone you’re using:
I’m using an iPhone:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Mobile Service (or Mobile Data).
- Select the eSIM you want to delete.
- Tap Delete eSIM.
- Tap Delete eSIM again to confirm.
I’m using a Samsung Galaxy:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Connections.
- Tap SIM manager (or SIM card manager).
- Select the eSIM you want to delete.
- Tap Remove.
- Follow the on-screen steps to confirm.
I’m using an Android phone:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Network & internet.
- Tap SIMs.
- Select the eSIM you want to remove.
- Tap Erase eSIM.
Please note: Deleting your eSIM does not cancel your iD Mobile plan. If you delete it by mistake, you will need to request a replacement eSIM. To cancel your contract, please log in to the iD Mobile app or contact us.
