I don't want a sim 

I am trying to take out a new contract for my daughter (who’s currently with 3) and have been declined by ID because I apparently don’t have enough payment history. I currently have 2 contracts of my own  with ID - one is 20 months old, the other is into it’s second month. ID won’t consider the older, still active contract to prove reliable payment history and insist on only considering the newer one. I’m a little confused as to why and if an actual human being can make a decision instead on relying on ‘computer says no’. Can anybody at ID help with this one please?

The last text message I got through was 10 days ago I know multiple friends and family members have sent SMS messages through to me, my messages get received by them but I don't get theirs. I have followed all the guidance steps given to other people with similar issues 

Not got bars showing at all when at home, just circle with line through it.Have also had issues making calls when outside for a fair while now.  Just will not connect. Supposedly got 4G in my area. Phone is a Samsung Galaxy from 2017 and I did see you had some issues with your network and users of this phone. 

Had a text telling me my bill cap had changed and that I’ve currently spent £1.20 on out-of-plan charges. The text also recommended I check My Account online or the mobile app regularly to monitor my usage and any out of plan spend.As I’ve never incurred any out of plan charges in the two years I’ve been with ID I was interested to find out what they were for. Searching ‘My Account’ and the mobile app I couldn’t find anywhere to see current usage or charges. Eventually I found an old post on here where another user had posed a similar question. They were told that you can’t actually see current usage/spend online or via the app!I find this quite bizarre in this day and age. Other providers have been doing it for years.Anyway, I figured I’d go on Live Chat and get the information from there. What an absolute useless service that is. Are there any sim deal on ID mobile to get cashback

Similar to another message I saw here, I live off the Norfolk coast and have on 3 separate occasions had messages and charges for being in international waters without going anywhere. The advice was to turn off roaming and set add-on limits cap to £0 which I did.However, I got the same message again today and told the cap had been set to £45. Am I going to be charged for it? I don’t know what else to do so would welcome some advice?

I am confused about roaming in the channel Islands as although they appear in the band 1 country list if you instead search by country in the drop down list call and data charges are stated. Does anyone have any knowledge or first hand experience of roaming here and help?TIA

A couple of days ago noticed both mine and my wife’s iPhones SE were no longer showing ‘wifi calling’ on screen and not able to make it receive calls through wifi calling.  Tried rebooting phone, toggling wifi calling in settings and restarting BT router.  No change.  Suggestions welcomed.  As both phones have stopped working at the same time suspect there is a common cause

I switched to iDmobile several weeks ago, opting to keep my old number and even though I have rebooted the phone a number of times, plus put the sim card into both sim slots, the result is the same, meaning the phone doesn’t ring and I can’t receive calls.My phone is a Samsung A70, so relatively old but it was working find before.The old sim (with EE) was in sim 2, but this doesn’t work in either sim 1 or sim 2. “iD” shows up against the sim, so I assume the sim is ok and recognised, just the phone number is not linked.I can send and receive texts, but when I send the recipient doesn’t see a phone number. I can receive texts to my number ok.Going into the phone settings, About Phone, Status Information and SIM Card Status, this shows:Service State - In Service Mobile Network State - DisconnectedHope this sheds a bit more light on the problem.Please can you advise the best way to resolve this.

Hi i have paid my balance today but my contact number is not working

I tried enabling data roaming and also extra roaming minutes from India so I expected that SMS from my Indian bank (State Bank Of India) containing my OTP should be received. This is needed to register my sim from iD mobile on to my State bank of India account.  I keep getting messages from iD mobile saying that charges would be incurred for roaming but still don’t receive the SMS. Please advice how I can enable this SMS being received from India. This is very important for me as I never had this problem previously with 3 Mobile

I will travel to EU for the next 6-12 months and while I will be having a different phone number for local purposes I need to keep my UK number active for this duration only for the purposes of receiving calls and texts. Almost every single account I have online has my number tied to it and then there’s everyone else in the UK that will contact me on my UK number . I plan on using an eSIM so that I don’t carry 2 phones with me all day. Is this possible ? Do I need to be in a specific plan, will pay as you go work ? I plan on porting my number to iD Mobile and not sure what to choose. 

I will be visiting Canada and the USA shortly and was wondering whether I could pay once for the data in each country or would I need to buy individual packages for each country. The holiday starts in Canada and we then cruise into Canadian and US ports and then finish off back in Canada.

I have been with ID mobile for many years without any issues. For the first time last month I used up all my data allowance. When the data renewed I no longer have mobile data in any location. I have tried everything, resetting data, resetting phone, try sim in another phone and all the suggestions given to me by the chatbot but nothing works. Can anyone help please?

Hello there I just got a contract with ID with new phone and data and is the first month  and I’m seeing that even if I have full bars on 4g I don’t connect to internet . And even when it connect in other places that is 3-4 bars is so slow . Can anyone help me with this issue . Many thanks . 

On Friday they texted to say my new SIM was on it's way. I contacted them to say I hadn't ordered one - they said they sorted it.  On Saturday a text said my esim was on its way. I told them and they said they would put red flags on my account and not to worry. Monday I got a text saying they were porting my number to a new account. I begged them not to but they said there was nothing they could do. Then I got texts welcoming me to Vodafone. Vodafone said it's was IDs fault and they had to get it back. OD said it would take 24 hours. Three days later thieves have used it to receive passcodes allowing them to access all of my bank accounts and cash ISA's. I just contacted live chat again, they have done nothing to sort it. You can actually phone my old number and speak to the thieves. The worst week of my life. They transferred my number to someone in Nigeria who is using it to access my online accounts. Their help centre is also based in Africa. During a live chat they shared someone else's personal details with me. Avoid like the plague. You have been warned.

Last year my wife and I bought a pixel 8 and contract each from iD mobile.We are both experiencing very poor performance using when trying to make or receive calls using the iD mobile sim.By far the worse is receiving calls. Quite often the phone itself rings, but when we answer the call there is just silence the other end.  On a number of occasions we have waited for important phone calls and when we answered the call couldn’t speak to the person on the other end. We thought maybe it was the ‘wifi calling’ option that was the problem, but disabling that has not helped.When trying to make calls, we have noticed a huge lag in entering the phone number and the call being connected. I’m talking 10s or more. Then when the call does connect the person on the other end can often not make out what we are saying as the call quality is so poor.We now have a 2nd sim in our phones with another provider as it is the only way we can reliably make and receive calls wit
