Recently took out an ID mobile contract after 10 years with Tesco mobile. I have next to no reception in Edinburgh city centre, voice calls cut off and when using WhatsApp also poor. Is anyone else seen this? Very surprised and disappointed.

Caroline Sparks just now I ordered a new phone on the 16th October, and paid £179 upfront to upgrade to an iPhone 16. I received my new e-sim but no phone and I've just seen the £179 has been refunded back to my account. However online it's showing I have entered into a new 2 year contract with you and I can't reorder. Please help!

I wish to know when will ID Mobile be removed from my Credit Report as it shows its still active even though I've now ended my contract? I ended my contract 20th.October and paid the final bill.

I had a load of saved voicemails from my nan who passed away on the 15th of October this year I've just gone to listen to them and they have gone , I'm heartbroken they were there everytime I've accessed my voicemail previously I pressed the save button after listening when I've had one from her and they have been there when I've picked up new messages but today all I got was you have 2 new messages no mention of saved messages I so want them back and want to know where they went

In the last month I’ve noticed I can’t make or receive calls on my Samsung S10e at my workplace here in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire or at my parents home in West Wales. I can still send and receive texts though. I have recently seen the banner re 3G switched off and have followed all the advice and still can’t make or receive calls. My phone is on the approved list and has VoLTE enabled. It was bought new and not locked to any network. I’m getting extremely frustrated at missing/not being able to make calls! Especially at my parents home as I have full 4G(LTE) and full signal - this has been infuriating as a family member has been in hospital recently. I have also missed lots of important business calls which is also infuriating! I also notice the huge quantity of messages about the shambles this 3G switch off is causing - if this isn’t sorted very soon I’m sacking off ID and switching to a network that actually bloody works!

There are similar posts about data roaming in Switzerland but none specific enough to solve my problem. While out of wifi, which works fine, I cannot make any calls, emails, sms-messages or go online. I have data roaming switched ON and a spending cap of £50, plus I’ve only started my new £24 pay montly plan 5 days ago and have tons of data left. I tried the iD chat bot which sadly was a complete waste of time, unable to answer any questions, no matter how simply put. Speaking to a human being would be nice. I understand that Switzerland is not part of the EU roaming zone as “it’s not in the EU” (well, nor is the UK!), but I really don’t care how much I pay for it, I NEED data roaming for work!! Please help.

Can see other people on here have had the same problem. When I try to redeem the Apple TV+ subscription I just get redirected to a page stating "UID missing or incorrect". Have already tried the live chat who initially tried to help but when the problem persisted could only suggest I contact Apple - which is obviously impossible!

Hi, I signed up to ID mobile last week. My signal has been terrible. I’m not able to send iMessages when out at work I can’t access the internet either I have an app for work on my phone to book on and off and this is taking forever to do, when I had no issues with my other provider Am I still within the 14 day cooling off period because I am seriously thinking if moving to another provider Thanks any advice welcomed

Phone showing emergency calls only although I am sitting next to wifi hub and 4G “auto connect”. I have followed all online suggestions, new SIM card and gone back to factory settings and now at a complete loss as to what else I can do. I am an “older” smart phone user and the language is a bit confusing but I have spent the last couple of days trying to sort this out but seem to be going roand and round and getting no where.

Still no network after 3 days now, so can't receive or make calls, I'm sim only got a up-to-date phone which says is compatible I've done all the troubleshooting and still nothing..... might go with another provider

Rant alert! Summary: ID mobile security is not existent. My phone number was stolen! Yesterday at 09:24 I got a txt message to say a SIM activation was in process. I was unable to log into the account to deny it was me, I thought I would try again later as I was busy with work. Later that day I realised my phone signal was gone and only working from WiFi, checking my emails I can see that someone has reset my Amazon, PayPal and email account with my phone number so I was logged out! They were also able to work out my bank details from the accounts to try and access online banking. I managed to briefly get access to my accounts by using a recovery email, they then again kicked me out with the mobile phone number for password recovery method. I set up a live chat with ID mobile around 5pm and they advised me the phone number had been stopped, and to get another SIM, I opted to go to Currys and pick one up before the shut at 8pm. But they were still able to get access to my accounts. The phone number I kept trying over night and it was still ringing so I called the automated phone and reported by phone stolen. I've been up until 4am this morning trying to get access to my accounts and get control. After 2 hours sleep, at 6am I rang my number and it was still connecting so I made another live chat to try and stop the number, this time they were successful and shortly after the number was going to voicemail. (Not 100% proof that the number was blocked I admit), at the same time they activated my SIM from Currys as I don't have access to my account (same as a lot of people right now). After an hour still nothing. So another live chat and. After a while we were able to get my number back (thank F##k) but still unable to get onto my account. I'm currently sat in fear my number will be taken again. As I still don't have access to my account or a personal email as i reached the recover email limits. And I've lost 2 days work as a result of dealing with this. I am beyond angry with ID mobile, as I don't believe I've been an victim of phishing (but I could be wrong). How can someone just take my number?!!!! There was no verification by me either with my phone number or email to port it.

Hello, when my order was accepted, the phone was dispatched on the 22nd october 2024 but on the 23rd october, currys had requested for the parcel to be returned back to them from DPD so now it continues to say on the tracking details that “the parcel is on its way back from currys” but no new delivery date has been given to me, so i don’t know what’s going on with the phone order. I didn’t get any updates on the new delivery date from DPD from ID Mobile or Currys and i need the new phone urgently for work.

Hi, My 24 month contract is up and I’ve received email confirmation that it’s now time to “upgrade.” I wish to move to a sim-only plan and do not need a new mobile phone at this time. How is the best way to proceed? Thanks

I’ve been with ID since April this year and have only recently not been able to send or receive any texts messages (iPhone). When prompted to put in my mobile number to create an account to post this query, it said that my details don’t match any that they had. How can this be resolved?

So u want me to pay my bill it should be £20 a month but I'd want 70 when I took out contract they told me no hidden charges and also was promised a data bolt on for unlimited data but only have 5gb called and done online chat got nothing back so not paying for a service I don't get and also not paying £70 as should be £20 Anyone else having this trouble

I know I'm not the only one, as much as ID will suggest to me its an issue with theirs/threes network. Everyone I know on either network is having major issues. Let's start. About 1 year ago around my renewal I noticed that signal was slightly poor in one area of my town and that phone calls were every poor. Assuming that i can have full 5g signal at the same time I assumed it was a faulty mast and would be fixed so stayed. One year later no improvement. Now this last month it has got even worse since the the 3g switch off. I have spoken to someone at id and tried all the usual bullshit they suggest yet again. Rather than them admit there's a serious issue they come up with everything under the sun as a reason for it not working. My main 2 complaints are having good service and no one being able to hear me properly, yet my end being perfectly clear. The other is a massive decrease in coverage If you're having these issues please let me know, I'm contacting ofcom and watchdog about it. I was unable to make a 999 call due to this issue and had to drive to get signal. How is it possible they keep making it worse. I've gone from Amazing coverage and speeds to barely being able to do anything. Id love to be able to speak to a manager rather than someone munching away on food in their livingroom. (Assuming from what sounded like children in the background)
