How do I stretch my 63 days EU roaming allowance? We are doing several longer trips to the EU in our motorhome this year and I’m trying to get confirmation of how I can stretch out my roaming usage, so I don’t exceed the 63 days allowed within any 4 month period. I’ve already used 51 days in February and March. Now we’re home for about 5 weeks and then heading out again early May, to be away 6-8 weeks. If I understand correctly, I can have roaming turned off for most of the days in the EU (instead using WIFI or hotspot off another device) and carefully count the days when I use my data allowance, to make sure I stay within the 63 days.BUT as far as I understand, I can still make and receive calls and text messages while data roaming is turned off? If someone was to call or text me, would that be counted as a “roaming day” by ID – or is it only data roaming days that count?If I was to exceed the 63 days, at what point would I get the 14 days warning?
