My texts have never worked properly but I got by with WhatsApp instead. I want to receive a pac code to leave, but can’t receive the text message. I also can’t verify using the ID app because it sends a text message too

My old phone number, call it ...345, was supposed to be transferred over on the 31st March. The new, temporary, phone number (call it ...789), was supposed to be temporary.My new phone (with the new SIM card) makes and takes calls on ...345, however all texts are going through my old phone (with my old sim card), regarding the number ...345.If I send a text or receive a text on my new phone, it uses the ...789 number. This is despite the message app on the new phone saying that it is using the ...345 number.This is also despite the many steps of troubleshooting I have gone through today with various chat agents. Moreover, I am also unable to add my phone number (...345 or ...789) to the ID Mobile app, due to the details being mis-matched?I don’t know what is going on in ID Mobile’s back-end, but it does not inspire confidence. Could somebody PLEASE shed some light on this tomfoolery going on at ID Mobi

Hi, I am trying to log into the app and website, registered fine, get the next page asking to add my mobile number. It just spins and then errors out saying something went wrong, please try again. During this period I get a text with a verification code, so clearly something is going on back end, but page isn't progressing.From looking around this seems like it may be part of a known issue which is ongoing for 2 months now. Is that correct? Or has it all been fixed and something else is wrong with my account?     

I recently switched phones and also switched to ID Mobile, when I went to set up all of my banking apps I was asked to enter a verification code that was sent to my number but no verification codes were coming through.  I can still send and receive messages from other people.  I was wondering if there was any fix to this.  Thanks.

Hello I hv recently set up a contract with you and transferred my number across but I don’t think j the transfer has completed properly! I’m having trouble sending some text msgs and when asking a friend for help today it appears my correct number is working in somethings but the number given to the phone is showing on others! My friend sent me a txt msg which I received but when I replied it showed the number given with the phone! Also if you check my number under settings it is incorrect. It seems like the transfer has not completed properly fully. The correct number should be.... The number given with the phone was... Pls can you help?

How do I stop charges by third parties being made to my bill. Basically if someone were to try to purchase something from playstation using my phone number how would I be able to prevent this in the future?

HiI flew to Geneva and received the welcome to Switzerland text message 1717pm.  I then walked through the airtport to my bags and received another text message at 1742 to say I had used 100% of my £45 date roaming cap.  My phone was switched on but wasn’t in use between those two times.  Can someone please explain how I managed to use £45 of roaming charges on an “asleep” phone in 25 minutes please?Many thanks, Rachel

I changed my number when I moved to ID but whatsapp will not let me change the number. I have now spent days on this and gone round in circles with the whatsapp live chat. It is not really a live chat but a set of automatic answers sent that do not solve the issue. I have tried countless times changed all sorts of settings, deleted whats app then tried to start again but all I am getting now are messages that there is suspicious activity going on.I do have 2 telephone numbers in the US to try but I am finding the whole thing upsetting and time wasting.Anybody have any other advice?

So as stated on my previous post I’ve been getting extremely slow internet speeds over the past few days,  this has happened once in the past but seemed to be resolved.  However, after looking into this a little more deeply it seems that ID Mobile are restricting my data, is this legal?  as i subscribed to the contract understanding that within the uk the unlimited data was truly unlimited? I only use my phone to hotspot to my laptop for day to day business work and using streaming services for myself only, so not like i’m doing anything crazy.  I started using a VPN on my phone to test out my theory and  i am getting drastically improved speeds (still not the best like, but better than 0.5mbps).Has anyone else looked into this ? because i might dig a little deeper.  Seems like a lot of users may have been misled when taking out contracts. 

By the time anyone help me my 30 days will be up and I will be stuck on this plan i want to go back to my old plan this one has gone up to much 30 too 38 definitely not happy with the price 

I'm out of contract and away on holiday. I want to go on to a sim only until I get back to UK to reduce my costs. But when I click change plan on the app, it still shows a higher price option?

My wife and I both have S22 phones. Hers is an ultra. We joined iD a quite a few months back, and everything was excellent.  However, recently, e have noted  that thequality of phone calls has dropped dramatically. We constantly get only one bar, but if we are llucky, it occasionally rises to two bar, but for a short time. It's very frustrating especially during important calls. Sometimes the network will simply end the call. Can anyone help?? We are in the Exeter area.

My SIM decided to not always.go into emergency calls with no internet. I paid my bills and it says working but it has been down for a few days. What can I do? 

First issue:Instead of the app showing the correct amount owed as per my bill (£10), it shows (£10.07). Same on the web. Customer services say it is erroneous, they do not understand why and took an action to escalate to resolve. That was two weeks ago. the issue is not resolved as we are now on the second bill and of course no updates. Second issue:A week ago, I was promised a customer service credit to my account. Is there an area of my account on the web or in the app that I should be able to see that credit? If not, why ?if anyone has any informed thoughts on either of these two issues, please help.With thanks

My new phone was stolen today. I’m trying to get my eSIM to activate on my old phone, which had an old eSIM for this account before I got my new phone, but something isn’t working. Help

My iPhone 16 is having issues with taking and making phone calls. I have to switch it off and back on for it to work, but I am having to do this 6-7 times a day, and missing important calls 

I've been with ID mobile since October 2022 and have a pixel 7 pro handset, I noticed the signal was poor but I checked the coverage which claims the city centre I live in (Cambridge) should have good indoor and outdoor signal so I assumed it was temporary issue. This seems to have progressively got worse over time and has never improved, I've travelled all over the UK and it's totally patchy and I can pretty much only make calls outside.My partner had the same handset on Tesco mobile and has no issues anywhere. I'm now moving to Norwich, there area is also listed as having good signal inside and out with 5g, in reality i can maybe 2 bars h+ so I'll have to rely on WiFi. I'm not sure I can cope with this, my contract is up on 11 Oct 2024 but I'll need signal until then. What options do I have? I can't afford to pay for another contract just to make phone calls or use the internet on my mobile... I pay for 50gb data unlimited texts and calls.

I have had my iPhone 13 (bought on a plan with ID) for about a month and I am suddenly unable to plug a charger into the charging port. It looks like 2 metal pins are sticking out into the port and no charger will fit. This happened out of nowhere, not following a drop of my phone or anything. The issue is not fluff or debris. Why is this happening on a brand new phone? I am not happy about this and would expect to be sent a replacement.  in addition to this, since swapping to ID mobile, my phone cannot send SMS messages and it seems to be affecting my WiFi which seems very strange to me as WiFi is separate and with a different provider but it has only happened since getting my new phone. I was not going to get in touch just yet about these matters as I have been managing but since I have now also got a problem with my physical phone I am even less impressed and require support with this. Many thanks 

I posted the message below 10 months ago with 0 help from ID Mobile. A few weeks after that, I was diagnosed with leukaemia and had to stay between hospital and home since then, both of which have good wifi. Now I am recovering and getting out more, I see the terrible ID Mobile coverage persists and I am still not receiving a useable service which I have been paying for. I would like to cancel since you are not delivering what you charge me for. —-Previous post, 10 months back:I signed to an ID mobile contract a few months back to reduce costs after many years with EE and find the ID Mobile coverage is so terribly bad, I am not getting the service I signed up and paid for. I can not use anywhere near the tens of GB of data I signed up for since my phone is permanently next to useless now unless I am on Wifi. When I was with EE the coverage in the same phone was always excellent. ID Mobile, this is not good enough. I’d like to cancel my contra
