I am wanting to end my contact early. I am aware that I will need to pay the final bill.  my question is: does this cover the cost of the phone and the ID plan? What happens to the phone after I pay it?  any help/ advise would be appreciated.  thankyou

2FA = two factor authentication (pin number sent via text/SMS). I am aware that I CANNOT use my UK phone to roam in the USA, i.e. NO data, NO voice on my Id-Mobile plan. I am getting conflicting answers about *receiving* texts while in the USA. I used chat and after a 60 minute wait was told that “yes” I can receive SMS texts sent from the UK to my phone while I am in the USA. I am not 100% confident in this answer. I was recommended a link which said that “no” you cannot receive texts sent to your phone while in the USA. This is a problem, as many companies, including airlines, insist on 2FA and many do this by means of a text/SMS message. They seem ignorant to the fact that many people will be unable to receive texts in the USA (likely other countries too). 

Can I switch my old number to ID if I have taken a contract and I have been issued a new ID mobile number? 

I had a contract with 3 and a French eSIM with Lyca and could use both SIMs at the same time.  So when I am abroad, I can use the French eSIM for data but also have the 3 SIM turned on for phone calls to my normal number.I have just changed to ID Mobile and I can only seem to switch between the two, and can’t have both switched on at the same time. If I toggle one on, the other goes off. So when I’m in France and using the French SIM, I can’t receive phone calls. Does anyone know how to get over this?TIAMaria

Hi guys,I had a pay monthly sim and phone with ID.My phone was stolen last year and was unable to use my services for a few months but still had to pay even though this was reported to ID and no support or solution was given. I then purchased a new Samsung phone and since August I have had no signal at all while inside my home and also while inside any building full stop, I only got signal while outside. I reported this to ID but again, no help or solution was given and I'm absolutely unhappy and not satisfied having to pay £17 a month for a service which I'm not getting, I'm basically being shafted having to pay monthly for nothing, I had to purchase a new sim with another provider to be able to use my phone. I'm also very dissatisfied with the fact that they have constantly increased my bill price, I started the contract at £15 a month which increased to £17.25 and now to £18 which prices I never agreed to at the start especi

Hi,Who can check my account and can give me an explanation of over charge.Since I have joined ID all payments been paid; in the September account was charged twice. From last three months I am receiving an extra monthly charge without explanation what and why this is for.?

i think people should leave this network because when you pay your bill but your sevices stay off there is nobody to talk to at all, there are no call centers or ways to fix the issue, my bill is payed on my bank but says its not on my profile and now i have no working phone

So i’m due my upgrade today, but it still says i can’t and that it’s too early yet it says “Your eligibility date is 07/03/2025 which is today.. Just wondering when i’ll be able to upgrade, i don’t want to be waiting for ages

I’ve just switched to IDMobile, but I can’t make or receive calls ( I can get online and also send IMessages and FaceTime Call ).  Ive tried adjusting my settings, but nothing has changed. I am wondering if my ancient IPhone 5c is the problem? I can use 4G and the services I’ve already mentioned though - is that right?Thanks for any advice offered.

Hi I’ve just received my new iPhone 15  the phone won’t let me use the internet  it says I’m connected to WiFi but still won’t download any of my apps let me search the internet or use iMessage 

I have just transferred from Sky to ID. I registered an eSim before the transfer I have tried everything up to resetting the network option. I have lost contact with two agents trying to sort this. I just want a phone line I can use     

Recently joined iD on sim only, when abroad my previous network provider showed on my phone and was unable to receive calls

My son tried to buy a  new Apple 13 - despite telling DPD we needed a delivery before 10 am they tried to deliver later in the day and so the phone was ultimately sent back to currys - we were away!The payment of £69.99 was taken out of his bank account on the 19th June and this money has never been refunded, despite ID cancelling the order.When will this money be refunded as I am not willing to place another order for the phone until the £69.99 upfront charge has been refunded.

Hi so I changed from smarty to I’d and wanted to keep my number however on change day and after replaced 2nd sim for id I still can’t receive phone calls or SMS text , I can call after I turn WiFi off and my correct number shows I’m calling but no one can call me or text me, iMessage works and Apple confirmed all settings correct. I’m tempted to give phone back and leave as now 3 days without a usable phone.

Hello. my phone is not allowing me to make calls and hasn’t been all day, I’ve had some really important calls I’ve needed to make today that I have been unable to due to this. my incoming calls were working, however they stopped coming through an hour or so ago. Im using an iPhone 15, fully up to date with all updates. I’ve turned it on and off 3 times and on and off airplane mode a handful of times too. I really need this fixing by this evening.  many thanks

I am currently on a Sim only contract with IDMobile but saw a deal on IDmobiles website for a PAYM contract. I have signed up for that contract and will receive the phone today but have found out you cant port a number through the same network.To avoid a ‘triangle port’, can IDMobile match the PAYM deal I saw on their website so that I can cancel the new contract but keep the phone due to be received today and have it as an ‘upgrade’ instead of a new contract?Incidentally, I am outside of my minimum contract on my Sim only deal so surprised that the ‘upgrade’ deals currently available aren’t even close to new contracts being offered on IDMobiles own website?
