the iD (3) signal is so weak/poor. I work in Lancing, the signal is unacceptable.  The same and at my home, in Eastbourne. I am only one week with iD and I am already thinking leaving.

I have been until now using a physical sim but recently my sim tray broke. I spoke to ID in live chat to get them to send me an email so I can use and eSim instead, but they said they needed me to receive a text before they send the email. How am I supposed to receive a text if my sim tray isn’t working, I don’t have any other phone I can put my sim in? It seems like a oversight to me since a sim tray is a component on a phone that can break like any other, and there are plenty of other ways besides a text of verifying my identity to avoid fraud. Does anyone know how I can get an eSim emailed to me in this situation?

Hi, I have a new phone, I put my contract sim in it and now on my ID account it is only showing the new phone contract details. How do I cancel my sim only deal when it’s not showing on my account!?

HiMy husband and myself both have idMobile and up to about 1 month ago both were working fine. Now, both of us are having problems with making calls and being heard on calls. We both have pixel 8’s but I have also tried my sim in a Samsung phone I have. When we make a call it either takes ages to connect or won’t connect at all. If we do manage to connect then we can’t be heard or the sound is breaking up so people cannot understand what is being said.We are desperate now for a solution as we have a disabled daughter and it is essential that we can be reached at all times.Can you please suggest anything to help. I have checked the coverage in our area and there are no problems noted. Our postcode is SG1 1PS.Thank you

I have just upgraded today , I don't have my new phone yet . But received the new esim email . All good, except I am still using my old phone  and now it says emergency  calls only ... Surely I should be able to continue using my old phone until I actually get the new phone and activate the esim ( which I haven't, as it says it can only be used on the phone it is needed for !) anyone had a similar experience? As it will prob be Tuesday before I get my new phone it means I can't phone anyone till I get my new phone ? Iain

Does anyone know what my phone should say under Mobile operator settings in the phones settings. I have a Pixel 8 pro.  I've been having some phone trouble of the security kind so have turned of WiFi as I believe that there is some sort of man in the middle "router" I'm not sure if the technical terms but basically my houses WiFi gets passed through a 3rd party before recieving and sending data.(Is that known as a "man in the middle attack" ?) So I rely on my ID SIM with unlimited data.  Does anyone know what the average music and video watching phone would use in data in GB a month? As I obviously have it tracked on my phone and in a bit concerned by the volume of data on a "brand new" phone.  So I wondered what mobile settings should look like and what iD's "operator settings" should be? Hii I have tried all the tips about reentering my phone number, airplane mode, network reset etc i have contacted my bank and they say they have a record of the codes being sent.  I have an eSIM on an iPhone 15 so I can’t try the sim it in a different phone. I transferred my old number to ID  so I assume this is the problem do I need to leave ID to get this to work  thanks 

I had e sim installed in the phone. It was working for some time. But all of the sudden it seem to have disappeared.  esim is not working at all. No calls, message, internet.  what can be done about it ?

I lost my phone on Monday evening, I tracked it to an address not far from where I lost it, but the man denied it was there, I have disabled on phone finder so if it turned on the data will be erased. I have got a replacement sim to use in my old phone. I would like to cancel my monthky plan 

I put a request to cancel my daughters pay monthly account on the 13th December 2024 and received an email saying there would be no charges. So fast forward to the 8th January 2025 and I have been charged the normal monthly fee. It looks like account has been cancelled as I cant see any details on minutes/data etc. 

Hi,Today my direct debit payment was declined. My previous payments had been made just fine, I recently switched my bank and set up the new direct debit details in the app. I received the following message from Starling bank today."Your Direct Debit with Id Mobile was declined as there was no mandate with reference 13917166/001. Please contact Id Mobile if you'd like future Direct Debits made to them."I will contact customer service later once they are open, and see if they can correctly set up the direct debit since it appears that hasn't been the case. But has this happened to anyone else? I read one older post with the same issue but didn't appear to be resolved. The strange thing is looking in the ID mobile app in payment history it says that my payment was successful but not appearing on my bank statement.  

Hi. I've just upgraded from sim only to a new 2 year contract with new phone. The contract I chose was a 50GB and my order shows thus but on the ID app, its showing my contract as having 10GB allowance. Please can this be resolved.

PAC code submission page keeps saying information is incorrect

I have had my phone stolen and my insursnce company have requested: Proof of usage which will need to confirm the IMEI number of my device, as well as the first and last usage dates. Proof of barring which will need to confirm the IMEI number of my device and the date that my IMEI number was blacklisted.I have requested this via live chat but have been provided with a copy of my bill and proof of purchase of my sim which is not what I have requested.Is anybody able to confirm how I go about obtaining these documents?Thanks!

Hi all I am hoping someone can help here as I am getting nowhere fast with the live chat support, despite contacting them 4 times now. Long story short is that I moved from Vodafone to ID earlier this week, but the signal and 5G coverage is really poor - most of the time I would only have 1 bar. My wife also moved and is having the same experience (we’ve not moved her yet as this palaver is still ongoing). Upon contacting Live Chat they said they would cancel my contract as I was within the 30 day cooling off period.
