Number porting took over 7 days - Now waiting for compensation
My mobile number was meant to be ported on 26/09/2024.On the day it never ported, and after checking online FAQs it said that it may be delayed (and it would automatically be flagged) and that I should wait until 7 days had passed before contacting ID. After 7 days I contacted customer support and it was eventually ported on 08/10/2024. During the conversation they said I would be entitled to max £20, as it was over 7 days and because I mentioned that in between the original port date and the actual port date, my then current contract, had rolled over to a new month.How do I expect the receive this compensation and when should it arrive? Will it be deducted from my next bill or will I get it back into my direct debit account?Thanks
