My iD.

I switched to ID mobile a few months ago from EE. I specifically said I wantd to keep my old number. Since being with ID I seem to have two phone numbers and i have to switch between them to make calls, I am not sure which number others see or which one im using at any time, often people dont pick up my calls as they dont recognise the “new number” (that I never wanted!). Also I can’t seem to send any texts from either number. Do you have any idea what the problem might be?

Will turning off 3G fix the congestion issues? Currently when using mobile data in Birmingham city centre, whether it's 4G or 5G, it's almost unusably slow. I usually switch to 3G manually as 3G is faster than 4G and 5G in Birmingham city centre. It's quite concerning knowing my only backup will be switched off

I have an active EE contract that I am not planning to switch from. But, I would like to try out ID Mobile, and wanted to sign up for a £6 a month plan. The problem is, checkout process only has the option of “switching from another provider” - on SIM delivery or a bit later with our without losing my number. I don’t want to switch or change numbers, I want an additional number to try out in another phone. How can this be processed at checkout? See the image with the only options available.

I want to change my plan to SIM only. have a selection of plans offered through my account but it doesn’t specify anywhere how long the contracts are - can someone please advise?Thanks!

Sometimes when someone calls me , it says you have dialed an incorrect number even though my number is correct. I ported this number from Lycamobile around a week ago and yet this issue only happens to some people. I have tried inserting my sim again which did not work . I can call other people but some calls i cannot receive

Please help. I have just discovered that i have an adverse credit file with id mobile. I contracted a sim and changed my mind within the cooling off period. It was confirmed by id mobile that it was cancelled. I never registered or used the sim. I then received a bill for £1.88 which I couldn’t pay as i was told to do it online but i needed to have registered the sim in order to pay. I now have 3 months of missed payments on my credit file and adverse credit registered which has stopped me from getting a mortgage. How can i sort this out? Thanks.

I have been trying to port in my number to ID, all my info is definitely correct but I get the error “We've tried to process your PAC, but there is an issue with the information you've submitted. Please check that you have provided the correct details and try again.” I transferred my ID mobile number to Lebara 2 days ago, and am now trying to transfer it back to ID Mobile under a new contract. Please can you advise what to do

I recently decided to change to iDmobile and received my sim. I then gave my PAC details to be able to keep my mobile number. Now I have been sent an email telling me my first monthly bill is ready and an iD account number with an unknown mobile number too? So I am totally confused and worried that idmobile have me mixed up with someone else. Anyone else have this problem or know who I can speak to for clarification? As a pending id customer I am unable to register on their website to view my account (as I don't have one) Thankyou all

Hi, I recently accidentally purchased two new phone contracts (and phone) I processed a refund and was given an address to send the unwanted handset to, however I haven’t yet had a refund or heard anything back from id regarding the refund. How can I find out what’s happening without having to speak to a robot or get cut off all of the time?! thanks Emma

I applied for two mobile phone with ID mobile via CPW. One for my wife and one for me. The application didn’t say that you couldn’t apply for two. After a couple of days and not hearing from CPW., I phoned after the best part of an afternoon spent on the phone with them, they finally said that I couldn’t apply for two. The service was terrible, so rather than proceed, I cancelled the order. I went Mobiles.co.uk (yes, I found out later that they are the same company as CPW) and my wife’s application was accepted but mine was not. My credit score cannot be improved as I don’t miss payments, I’m not overdrawn, have lived at the same address for a decade and have not bank more more than a decade. Mobile.co.uk said that CPW hadn’t advised ID mobile of the cancellation of my order and that was the reason for failing the credit check. Is this true and will I have to wait 90 days before applying again because CPW are such a shambles ?

Hi..I have just moved over to id mobile from 3. I requested a port date for thursday but 3 has cut off my number two days early.

I ported in my old number yesterday and my temporary number from ID is still showing on my ID account/dashboard. How long should it take to change to my ported in number? Thanks

I pre-ordered the new Pixel 8 on an unlimited data plan through Carphone Warehouse, I have received the new phone and Sim card. The Sim card is inactive and will not work after attempting all of the fixes suggested. I don’t have an IDmobile phone number so I can’t create an ID mobile account, I don’t have a transaction number because I never received a digital invoice or welcome email. I have the phone contract downloaded and I have the Carphone Warehouse order number in the confirmation emails. Help from staff would be much appreciated,thanks.

Hi, I have recently switched to ID Mobile but I am unable to get 5G on my compatible device (iPhone 13 mini) in Cardiff. I have been able to get 5G on other providers with the same phone so I know that 5G definitely works for my device. I have tried restarting the device and reinserting the SIM but nothing seems to work.

I ordered 2 different SIM cards this morning, literally 5 minutes apart, 1 has been processed and the other I received an email saying it was processed at 9:53 then another email at 9:54 saying cancelled-duplicate with a reference number. I went in to the chat and the agent said it was declined, without a reason! I’m really baffled as I have now got 2 contracts with IDM but declined the last 1 I ordered! Confused 🫤

I’ve recently joined iD and I’m having issues sending a text to my family who own androids, I’ve checked my messages setting and everything’s on, I’ve also tried restarting my phone but just comes back unable to deliver. I am changing over my old number is that possibly why?

Hi, I recently tried to open a new contract and received an email saying has been I have been accepted by the iD Mobile network, however not for the chosen handset and tariff combination that you have ordered. Instead, The network would be willing at this time to offer you one of their great sim only packages. Doesn't that mean I got rejected? Does that affect my credit score? What's the deal here?

Hi there I've left Vodafone to join ID, I've received the text from ID to say port has been completed last Friday 14th July but since then I've not been. Able to receive calls or texts If someone rings sounds 2 beeping nosies and a says invalid number so but I can ring and text out all of which shows my ported number so its just the receive call and text I'm having issues with any advise before I can cancel my contract has I'm still in cooling of period
