AS of yesterday I lost my phone service and after  hours with ID MOBile my problem has been referred to the technical team to help me. Since I had the problem I started looking for possible problems and came across the fraudulent practice of hijacking telephone numbers.  This is what I believe could have happened to me, I tried to use WhatsApp and when I tried to get to my account it told me my passcode was being delivered to a device which was not the model/make I was using .The service stopped a few minutes after I got a text from IDMobile saying my number activation request is nearing completion, which I had not applied for.  Has anyone heard about this practice and what has to be done to protect oneself from the theft of your number ?If I am  correct , all this makes me very nervous about what benefit hijacking my number is to the thief. Any thoughts/ suggestions would be very gratefully received. Tym  

I have been advised i cannot use my ID Mobile data in the USA without being charged so am looking for what is a good E-Sim to buy. Also how does it work regarding Airplane mode etc as i wouldn't want to come off air plane mode and be charged anything but would also need to be off airplane mode for the  sim to work. Never used an E-Sim before so not sure how it works. I would still want to use my IDmobile sim when on wifi.

I changed to ID mobile a month ago with 5gb plan to check I liked performance. I changed to 30gb plan knowing I could only use 25gb while roaming and it said unused data would not roll over. I am roaming at present. I received an SMS saying new plan activated followed almost immediately by another saying I had used all of my 30gb allowance whilst roaming. The app shows I have 39.9gb remaining which is impossible because without any useage at all I would have only had 35gb if data had rolled over. What is going on?

Hi, I am looking to switch to ID Mobile but I still have a few months to go on my Three SIM contract. If I decide to jump ship and get a new phone from ID Mobile, can I select a new number for now and see how it goes?  If the network seems sound, then initiate a PAC change in a few months time, rather that straight away?Thanks for any advice.

Ordered the new motorola edge 50 ultra as a upgrade, nothing on the site saying it was out of stock. Paid the upfront cost and was accepted for the upgrade. Then for a second email saying I have chosen a phone out of stock. Which I hadn't. Now no correspondence about a date of arrival or any other information. Anybody help what's the best thing to do. 

I’ve recently joined iD mobile with an eSIM. After installing the eSIM and activating my services I headed off to my iPhone settings> Mobile services> SIM and then clicked on my iD mobile sim on going through all the option listed to check that the setup was all ok I noticed that the “mobile data network” option was missing which is were the APN setting are, as I would need to check these settings to make sure they are correct for EU Roaming. I contacted iD mobile on the live chat and explain this was missing and after them asking me to check a few things they said that there was a problem and to contact my local Curry/carphone warehouse. I visited the store the following day and to my surprise the sales person didn’t have a clue and said that it will be fine. Has anyone had this issue and if so how did you resolve it, as even though this option is missing all my services I.e, call, text and internet access is works fine. Also with the APN settings missing will this actually a

I pay for ID Mobile accounts for my partner and daughter. I used to be able to log into the ID Mobile portal and see what scheme they are on and compare costs and offers etc. The previous links and credentials now take me to  a new site asking me to re-register which I cannot do without the phone as it texts info to the phone - which I do not have with me.Is there any way of logging in as I used to or would it best necessary to request PAC codes and ,move to  a provider where I can still do this?Thanks in advance 

Bought an IDMobile SIM card last Friday, I sent a PAC code and got email to say it would become my usual number on Monday. A confirmation email said it was successfully changed, however I can send text messages to my daughters iPhone but it won’t send text messages to my android contact, asked at Curry’s where I purchased the sim and they couldn’t find a fault, does anyone know what the problem is?

I've been given a physical ID mobile simcard from a curry's store. The issue I'm having is that i wish to swap from E sim to a physical sim. How can i do this.  I used to have an s22 running an E sim, but I've recently upgraded and now have an S24 ultra. I wish to have a physically simcard as i need the e sim for foreign network and you can't run two e sims simultaneously. I would have the following Physical simcard And e sim  Does anyone know how to transfer my number from an e sim to this physical plastic sim i have Thanks 

After trying for about 2 weeks to set up an online account, I’ve finally manage it. Great, I thought, until I tried to add my number. When I did, it now tells me that, as my number is PAYG, I can’t add it to my account. The only trouble is, it’s not PAYG, it’s pay monthly, with the number migrated from another network. Can somebody help me with this? I’m fast losing the will to live.

If I call one particular mobile number, its constantly engaged. I have no problem calling any other mobile numbers.I can call the problem mobile number with no issue at all using any landline phone, another mobile phone using a different network provider or by using a different mobile provider on my own mobile phone.This has been an ongoing problem for many months. I/m seriously considering leaving ID mobile because of this. Its an important contact number that I must be able to access.Just to mention, I can’t successfully text the problem mobile number, though no issue by any other means as mentioned above.

I’ve just had text confirmation that my old number has been successfully transferred to my new ID mobile phone… However i can only successfully call and text out but do not recieve any incoming calls or texts.?Is this a settings issue in my new phone or the old network provider (EE).  

Despite coverage map claims.. not a sausage.Information obviously complete tripe.I have a Pixel 8, Daughter has iPhone 14, so not cheap and nasty phones. I confess she has more joy than I do but I'm paying £30 each a month for these and it's utter junk. Please don't blame '3' as I've seen elsewhere, my contracts are with IDMobile, therefore IDMobile are responsible. I’m a new customer. I have received my first bill but I am unable to see it. I have registered online, I feel I have registered on the app (re-registered) each time I get to the enter the one time pass code but never receive the email containing the one time pass code. This is very frustrating. Please can you advise how I sort this. Thanks 

Hi, I transfered my number on Thursday using my pac code but it hasn't activated 

At my partners address the coverage checker says he should have excellent inside and outside coverage but neither of us can get an Internet connection on our phones. This was always poor but recently has got to the point we can't even use our phones. Both of us with ID, he has a Samsung S22 and I have a Huawei P30 pro. Phone calls are vertually impossible but 4G and signal appear good on the phone. We have reset network settings, but no change. I can't find a way to report this to ID except to the community. Is anyone able to assist please? Thanks 

Hi. I've just joined ID Mobile. I have my PAC code and I'm sure I gave it to ID Mobile but I can't remember. The number on my new phone is different to my old number. Is there a way of checking if they are transferring over my old number please?

My previous number is now referenced in my ID account, have been told that pac was successful, but the number on my new phone (android) has not updated, and is the same as the original sim number.  The ID bot isn't going to be any help, so hopefully someone knows how to resolve this without being able to speak to ID! 

I am trying to reset my SIM PIN code (on iPhone). This has resulted in my SIM being locked after 3 failed attempts. How can I get me PUK code in order to reset? 

When trying to dial one particular 01708 number I get the message ‘number not recognised’ and the phone bleeps three times then hangs up.
