Sim not working in new phone. Have just started new contract. Says NO SIM

Hi there, I’m hoping you can help. I very recently lost my Mom, and I know my last 5/6 voicemails have been from her, however I deleted them from my phone at least 2 months ago. I’ve read that there is a slim possibility that they may be recoverable from the ID Mobile servers, and I’d be extremely grateful if there was any way you could find them so I could hear her voice again. I know it’s morbid, and I’m not even sure it’s possible, but I’d never forgive myself if I didn’t ask. In hope Nick.

Is there any option of paying a cost upfront and adding this on my account for using calls texts and data when I go on holiday to Mexico, as it's not included in the bands?

Would this method of connecting to Three Wifi on the tube work with ID sim? ( it works with other Three mvno’s) 1. Go to your Wi-Fi settings. 2. Select the Three_WIFI SSID to open the configuration screen. Find the "EAP method" 3. Choose AKA from the list. 4.Click on the connect button. Grateful if someone could test it, and report back. Ta.

Hi all, I switched to iD mobile recently. Everything is going fine and I'm getting some good speed here in Leeds - but I did some further testing for fun (and because I also have a three payG SIM for trips to the US that I used for a comparison). For some reason, I noticed that the signal strength icon on my Samsung S23 ultra (almost always) seems to show one bar less signal strength on my iD SIM than on my three SIM. Using apps like gmon-pro confirmed though that the signal strength should be identical and that I'm indeed connected to the same mast and band. Speedtest do not show any difference, either. I wanted to test if that's maybe a Samsung issue and wanted to swap the SIM cards around so that they use each other's SIM trays. I noticed that the iD SIM now absolutely doesn't want to activate in the SIM tray 2. I tested the SIM in different phones and different SIM cards in the tray... It seems to be an iD SIM + sim2 tray issue only? The only thing I also noticed is that when I put my iD SIM in an older OnePlus phone, it gave me a chip like looking icon for the SIM (instead of the regular SIM logo like for other cards). My question is therefore - is iD mobile using some special type of SIM? I read stuff about UICC SIM cards? Maybe iD installed some verification certificates on my Samsung phone that prevent me from using it in another SIM tray? I haven't tried resetting the network settings, yet - because I'm too lazy... But maybe that could help... In any case, putting the iD SIM back into tray 1 and three back into tray 2 doesn't cause any issue... Super weird behaviour from the SIM haha

Yesterday I changed my plan.I received a message saying the card should be activated shortly.Half hour later I got the message,enjoy using your plan,but network doesn't work!! Said "Cannot connect to mobile network" !!!

Hi. My PAC code appears to have transferred my old number over but my messages are being received from the new number that was allocated to my phone when it arrived. How do I change this so that all communications are from my transferred number. Many thanks. Jo

Can I use my phone in sri lanka

My wife has recently joined iD Mobile. We are sure that when my wife joined iD Mobile we registered her, but we could be wrong. When we tried to Register/Log In/Password Change today iD Mobile refuses to recognize her details. iD Mobile send her texts/messages her ‘phone works, but to register or log in is a no go area. Interestingly we are not the only ones. How do we open the iD Mobile website and App? Can human being help?

I have just received my final bill and there is a charge for disconnection on there. however i was out of contract (pac issued). so i am guessing this is an error. please can this be rectified.

I signed up I'm December since then I've had the worst network coverage I've ever had from any network . The signal for calls and texts works everywhere but unfortunately the data signal is poor in lots of areas . I rely on maps and data fory work and am often out n about and not able to use data I'm having to hunt for public WiFi like a nut just so I can use maps or Internet its ridiculous as I'm paying for unlimited but 95% of the time it doesn't work and never works within my home either . When I speak to 1d they say there data "is not intended for home use "" but this wasn't specified when I purchased. However since start of contract I've used only 1kb of data which shows how irregularly I'm able to connect . On top of this price of contract went up by over £9 in space of 3 months I signed at£33 in Dec now by March it's gone up to £42 ! To pay South and not be able to use data using disgusting . I feel I was nice in signing up to this network I thought I'd give it a try bur I've been sorely burnt this time abd now I'm stuck with the poor speeds for 2 years !! It wasn't such a good deal as I thought . Do your homework guys

Due to me returning 1 new phone and then getting another, both with id, the first turned to a pay as you go but I’d already made an account with it. Now I have new phone with a contract but can’t make new account or add my new phone to the original account that now has the pay as you go phone on. I tried making a new account but it won’t let me with the same email address and setting up a new email address would be daft, as id know me with my current email address. Any ideas, please?

Hi my husband is an ID customer and he is having trouble logging in as he can't remember his pass word but when he tries to change it and he is asked to enter his phone number DOB and last name it dying they are incorrect, we had tried phoning but are unable to get through to anyone. Any ideas on how to sort this?

New to ID mobile. I am having big problems with network coverage . It seemed ok when i first had the phone but now it is at the best very poor and at the worst none existent. Been on the network checker page and it says my signal should be fine. Do you think it could be the phone i have a Pixel 7a. The phone does work when i get a 5G signal

Hi I have a PAC code from my previous provider and when I complete the form to move my number over to ID Mobile, it just brings up an error. The live chat is not working and I cannot find another way of contacting you. Please can someone advise how I can move my number over. Thanks

Hi, I'm in the process of moving my number over from Three. At the moment when I am inside my flat I use the WiFi calling feature, as the signal indoor is weak. Can I assume that the WiFi calling would work the same with ID, since it is the same (three) network and same device? Thanks, Julio

Hello, I have recently switched my old phone number onto the ID mobile sim. I got a text message saying it’s all gone through and I would need to turn my phone on and off, which I have done. I am currently on voxi and have had a SIM only deal with them for over a year. The phone was bought second hand but is locked up Vodafone.. Voxi won't unlock the phone as I never bought it from them and I can't use my new idmobile SIM. Is there any way round this?

Despite appearing to have 4G indoors and even 5G sat on my driveway, the actual signal is atrocious!In my kitchen (which has line-of-sight to the mast!) I get intermittent service today, at best! Some days it’s great, other days it’s unworkable and I end up with numerous missed calls. The coverage map shows 4G as good indoors and 5G as good outside and yet neither is true of late! Bizarrely, the best 5G signal I get is up on the moors, in the middle of nowhere - which is pretty useless when I’m trying to operate my business! Not, by any means, what was promised! I had high hopes for IDMobile, but feeling very let down now.
