Hello!I’m using an iD SIM in a phone originally bought through another network. My mobile data has been very erratic in the UK (I’m regularly unable to use it) and when I went to Greece recently it wouldn’t work at all. I was trying to troubleshoot using ChatGPT (!) and it thinks it’s a problem with my APN settings, specifically the Mobile Virtual Operator Network Value, which is showing as 0305 on my phone but which ChatGPT thinks should be 4D. But my phone won’t let me edit the APN settings or create a new set.Assuming this sounds like a plausible explanation, is it possible for you to push the correct APN settings to my phone remotely? Or would a replacement SIM do the trick?Thanks so much for your help!J

I think im paying too much on my bill. There seems to be more than one payment a month on average. 

I have the most upto software and version of Android auto , but my Google pixel 10 doesn't work in my car . So it's useless to me . Can I return the phone . My old Samsung and my husband's new S25 works perfectly well so it's not my car . The phone is pointless as I use my car daily.

I live in an area with very poor mobile reception, and so depend on wifi calling, but it just doesn’t work. There is no sign of a signal or dialling, when I select a number to call, then after about 30-40 seconds it gives me an error ‘Call Failed’. When I first got my iD SIM card, everything was fine, but suddenly, I’ve just been unable to receive any text messages. This means no one-time passwords for websites and my bank transfers. It’s really important I get this fixed soon. Sometimes I get text messages flooding in when I’m in a car in some random area, and then never again. I’ve turned my phone off and on again (didn’t work) and took the sim card out and then put it back in again (also didn’t work.) What am I meant to do?  This happened in the last week or so. I want to reiterate that I can call people, but I’m not able to send or receive any text messages. 

Hi, I bought a roaming add on for Turkey today however it’s not working.  I received a text confirming it had been activated, my mobile and ID app roaming has been turned on but nothing. 

I am looking to upgrade in the next couple of weeks to the Samsung S25 Ultra. But its not on the list of available phones when i look at the upgrade tab. Does that mean i will have to cancel my current plan and start a completely new contract

I have lost roaming data in one phone, if I move the sim into another phone it all works fine data included. . If I use a none id mobile sim in the problem phone it works fine data included. However despite ensuring roaming is enabled the ID mobile sim will not work on data in the phone?

HelloI applied to trade in my old phone more than two weeks ago and was advised of a valuation of £230 for my iPhone 13 Pro 256GB plus a promotional £250 for getting a new Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. I haven't received the freepost package to send my phone in and emailed you about this a few days ago. I was told to start the process again, which I have done (Trade In Reference 445776102). I then followed the instructions to claim the promo extra £250 but I am unable to proceed as the Pixel Pro 10 offer is no longer available to select from the dropdown menu.My original ID Mobile order number is 141717488 and I made the purchase on 31st August 2025, well inside the promotional period.The £250 extra trade-in promo and the £100 Curry's voucher were definitely incentives to commit to a new contract with ID Mobile, so if they are not honoured I would think this is something I need to speak to Trading Standards about.Please advise. 

Can anybody help me please. I have upgraded phone for my daughter (obviously contract is in my name) I have signed contract electronicaly, paid up fron fee of £69 and have been told on Sunday last week that phone will arrive via DPD on Tuesday 16th of September. Now is 19th of September and after numerous live chats with customer service team I have now being told that deal upgrade has expired thats why my iphone 15 upgrade is still in ‘’processing’’ and we need to create new order!! So i have been charged money for something that I will never receive? My daughter Birthday is on 22nd and this was her Bday present… what do I do ?!! Hi, I am currently eligible for an upgrade. However, the specific phone I want to upgrade to is not on the list — Samsung S25 Ultra. I can see all other S25 versions, just not the Ultra. I am currently on a Sim Only Plan. Will I have to cancel that plan just to set up a new contract for the S25 Ultra? Thanks

Hi, I am on holiday in Europe with international roaming, lots of data, Wi-Fi etc, notifications coming through but not OTPs from bank, normally get them no problem at home.  Any ideas?

My phone is not charging it keeps saying it has water damage when It is no where near any. I have tried 5 or 6 different leads and plugs and still no joy I get a minimal charge off 1 enough to post this. ID are a waste of space cant find any contact details to tell them.

My signal in new property is very poor no signal getting too my phone and less i am out doors 

I have contacted live chat 3 times now to cancel my sim only within 7 days of ordering it. But it is still ongoing…: I’ve said to leave online but I don’t want to be charged for it which doing it this way I will be. I don’t want to go on live chat again as they do not seem to solve this problem and seem to be useless. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks 

i used a PAC code to keep my old number. it seems to have worked for calls but when i text people it is not my regular phone number. in my phone settings it is also not my regular number that i used the PAC code to keep.  Can’t used the live chat it doesn’t understand my question and can’t find a number to call. 

I’ve switched to iDMobile, everything working k except texts, these are inconsistent. Using an iPhone and I’ve switched messages on and off.

Why is it I can see offers on mobiles a lot lot cheaper than upgrading through yourself it makes me want to cancel and go elsewhere . 

I keep getting texts from ID saying my direct debit has been cancelled by my bank. My bank deny it, ID reinstates it, and the whole process starts again.  I don't know what to do? 

I can’t get iMessage to authenticate for love nor money on my new iPhone 16e. I've tried everything advised, and still can’t get to work. Any ideas what else I can do? I've even tried new esim and new physical sim.

I have 2 ID sims. i cancelled one a few weeks ago and the other about a week ago. I'm fairly sure i had paid the last payment but then today ID took another £8 by DD. do they just ignore cancellation requests and keep billing?  what do i do to check the cancellation status or shall i just close down the direct debit mandates? in both cases the sims were just monthly and a temp measure as short term back up.  I could dig out the emails confirming the cancellation for clarity but it just feels fishy still seeing DDs leave to pay for ID sims. ps I picked category from the drop down “thinking of leaving?” ‘cus there is no option “not thinking of leaving, I’ve left, or I’m trying to?” 

I’ve just bought myself a new iPad Pro and I opted for the cellular version as I always believe in getting the best spec I can afford.  Future-proofing !   now I need to know how to get best use of it !I believe I need to get a new mobile account to use it - how ?  and then what ??  Can anyone explain in simple terms how I can use this feature to its fullest - or point me to an article or YouTube please kind regardsJohn B 

I am currently with iD and have a physical SIM. I am thinking about buying an iPhone Air which is eSIM only. How easy is it for me to switch and keep my current number?

Normal calls won’t work both outgoing and incoming. I have to make all calls via WiFi or using internet. Why isn’t it working?
