Can I keep the same number if I have ordered a new phone with id mobile contract 

I have switched to Id mobile today but have no internet access on my iPhone.  APN details on phone are still Sky, the previous provider. 

Hi all.Just swapped to ID from Sky with ESIM. All seemed to go smoothly although it’s showing a different number as well as my old one as a primary and travel number, travel one being the new number. What’s that all about and how do I get rid of the new number? many thanks 

It’s now Feb 2026, are ID Mobile yet doing calls & texts packages from Andorra when I’m there 1 March?And Data packages?

I upgraded my contract last year and have been billed twice every month, one for the old contract and another for the upgraded contract.I've had confirmation of the upgraded contract, but this does not show on my account at all.That is almost £190 I have paid, please can someone help sort this problem. 

Hi,I have just moved my families 3 sim only contracts across from EE and the switch date is Tuesday 17th.When you go to log into the ID Mobile App you need to enter your mobile number. It doesn't accept the number I am porting across from EE.I assume this is because the number hasn't ported across yet, so my question is this. Should I wait until my number(s) have ported across and I am actually using the new ID Mobile eSIM? I do have an email that tells me the temporary number assigned to my eSIM but I wasn't sure whether using that would potentially cause me any headaches 🤣Happy to wait a few days if it will be smoother and have looked for any info on this topic in the community but couldnt find anything..  

Over the past couple days my phone has been unable to send texts. Instantly the failed to send issue pops up. However I am still able to receive texts, use and receive calls and my mobile data works. I haven’t changed any settings on my phone or ID account. My phone hasn’t been damaged either.  iPhone 15 Plus 

Hello, I have been trying to order two new SIM cards for my sons. I have ordered two separately and both have been rejected supposedly because I failed the credit check. I would have no reason to fail a credit check. I had a conversation with an online agent who said that he would help me but after our chat I received an email to say that both of the Sims he helped me to set up were rejected.I really don't want to go to another provider as it's easier to keep everything in one place. I already have two SIM only contracts with IDHow can I sort this?

My 24 month phone contract is coming to an end in about two weeks. I have obtained a PAC code and will switch carriers the moment my contract ends. My monthly data plan has just renewed so when the switch occurs, I would be halfway through my plan, will I get a pro rata refund? Does it happen automatically or do I need to request it?  

Hiya, I joined ID mobile in November, but my bills go out for direct debit every two months even though it says monthly it seems to be skipping a month then obviously the bill is double, I can't afford to keep having the bill double every two months and I'm confused as to why it isn't monthly? Thanks

I have just spent 2 hours on live chat and want to cry and how unhelpful the whole experience was. It’s pretty simple, I have 2 monthly contracts with id. Mine and my sons. I gave a PAC code for my old number to be transferred to my new contract, however they transferred it to my sons instead. I asked for 2 new ESIMs, one with my sons original number and contract and another with my desired transferred number and contract. None of this has been done or understood despite me explaining it simply and repeatedly for 2 hours. I asked multiple times for a manager or a contact number for customer services which I was told they don’t have contact details for anyone anywhere. I need my number, it’s incredibly important for medical needs. I have no idea what to do next, this is the worse customer service I’ve ever had to experience 

Can I increase the cap on phone calls to enable me to make calls from the USA?

So I mistakenly ordered an E.sim and have also linked it to my account for a direct debit thinking my phone supports an E.sim but I was wrong and so I had to call the customer care to council Mr E.sim order and I ordered a physical SIM which was delivered to me and I also activated it for a direct debit from my account. I did both orders on the same day.however today I was debited for both Sims by my bank. Please how can I stop the direct debit on the E.sim ??

I just had an awful interaction with customer service chat.  In which he:Made assertions about UK law that were in correct Asked for me to provide a photo of my driving license to continue to support me Refused to escalate the chat to a manager Claimed to block my account as a result of my insistence on speaking to a manager.I requested the transcript, but I’m not sure if it’s delayed or not coming through (edit, I have now received this) - can I have a manager or senior representative of ID Mobile to review this?  I am currently without the ID mobile device (a Motorola Razr that they told me to return to Motorola for repair who are refusing to do so and now refusing to return it), or an eSIM (the automated system won’t send one to me). My account email is the same as my ID mobile contract email. EDIT: the incorrect assertion of UK law (awful training that a CS rep would make this stuff

Hi. So, I have had 2 accounts with ID, one for me and one for my son. I used to be with Vodafone but switched to ID years ago. Now, when I did this, it was done through Carphone Warehouse who input all my details. But my number doesn't show as recognised with ID, yet I pay my bill to ID and the icon on my phone shows ID. I am paying as if I am paying for the phone still and cannot access anything to change this, even though that contract ended over 2 years ago! I only want to be paying for a sim only deal like I do with my sons. Currys/carphone warehouse have also tries calling ID for me but they don't recognise my date of birth so its obviously been input incorrect. How doni sort this? I cant even get a pac code!

I have been overcharged on my bill from £7 to £32 for exceeding data limits, why did my data not stop at the limit and how do I get a refund on it?

I'm so disappointed,  I don't have any service for 3 days. Actually since I've got this contact itiis a very poor service from the I'd mobile.  I've to leave ASAP because I can't effort the high bill anymore.  

I can't use my data at all and can't make any calls , even though im paying £26.71 per months . I need to leave this contact ASAP.

I received my new phone on 6 Feb no mobile data or phone signal. Tried network reset loads of times, had new esim and physical sim. Just going round in circles with live chat. Been to Currys who did their best. To say I’m really fed up is an understatement. Network coverage states excellent in my area. I still don’t know if there is some setting that needs tweaking? I really don’t want to be stuck with a 2 year contract on a phone that doesn’t work. iPhone 17.     

Since I have left EE and switched to ID mobile,  my signal is terrible,  calls cut off randomly and I can't make a call without someone saying I am constantly breaking up. Also voLTE will not work with my samsung A56 

I am signed up for a contract but will be travelling in Asia for around five months. Are there any options to extend my contract or change it to be able to use it abroad? I can see add on options but can’t see anything reasonable that would cover that length of time. 

Any one know? If I upgrade  to SIM only for a while , as there's no phone I want at the moment .  ( Im only offered to do a 12 or 24 month ) ,  then in a few months I see a phone I like , am I stuck for 12 or 24 months ? Or.could I upgrade again ?  Thanks
