Hi, I'm trying to connect my Echo Dot using my mobile as the Hotspot. It won't work so I've contacted Amazon. They want to know if ID are a Ad Hoc or Peer to Peer network?

I don't think it is but I've been told to check.

We currently do not have any further update, from the information we have been given, Amazon is in the process of fixing the issue.

Is the network Ad Hoc, Peer to Peer or something else?

Hi @Zenie77,

We had approached our Technical Team about this and they have come back to us today stating that Amazon has found the root cause of the issue and are working on a fix. Timings for rollout are still to be confirmed but the fix is expected in their next software update.

Hi Ryan,

Would you please send more information on the fix and how it should solve my problem connecting to the Echo Dot?

Thanks,

Zena
