What is 4G?
4G is the fourth generation of mobile network technology. On 4G, you’ll experience faster data speeds, improved connectivity, and reduced buffering when streaming videos or making video calls. It’s designed to give you a smoother and more efficient mobile experience.
How does 4G work?
4G operates on advanced bandwidth that’s faster and more efficient than 3G. It offers significantly higher data capacity and speed. Think of 4G like a super-fast conveyor belt in a factory. While the 3G conveyor belt moves items at a steady pace, the 4G conveyor belt moves them much quicker and can handle more items at once. This means you’ll get a stronger and more consistent signal, even in busy places. With 4G, everything just flows more smoothly.
How will I know that I’m on 4G?
To enjoy the benefits of 4G, you need to be in a 4G area with a 4G capable phone. When these conditions are met, you’ll see the 4G icon at the top of your screen, next to the signal bar. Hooray – you’re on speedy 4G! If you’re connected to Wi-Fi, the 4G icon may not appear. Disconnect from Wi-Fi to check your 4G status.
