Hi, I’m trying to upgrade my phone. I currently have unlimited data, text and minutes. But I just want to be sure what the 5x data means. If for example I get 500gb data would that mean that I’m technically getting 2500gb?

I’m really sorry for any confusion, I can completely understand why that wording would make you pause before upgrading.
 

The “5x data” offer does not mean your data is multiplied in that way (e.g. 500GB becoming 2500GB). Instead, it refers to a promotional multiplier used in certain marketing offers, but your actual allowance will always be the stated plan data amount only (for example, 500GB would simply be 500GB).

So you won’t receive any additional multiplied data beyond what is clearly shown in the plan details.
