Adding a second SIM card and plan to my account

I am already a customer, with a specific SIM only plan and phone number, that I use for private life. I want to add a second SIM card and phone number for my professional contacts to keep it separated from private life. It means I am paying already by direct debit, all payments made well and no issue. When I try to add a secon plan, the system ask for my last name, phone number and birth date. But systematically doesn’t recognize me and thus is blocking me. How to deal with that? is there a phone number I can use to contact customer service at ID Mobile and sort out this mystery?

Can you please confirm if you are wishing to purchase the second plan or already have the second plan and wish to add this to the iD Mobile app?

Dear Natalie, I just want to purchase a second plan (and thus transferring an existing phone number I have today with Vodafone). then if successful, I want to add it to the mobile app, but only once the line is working properly with the phone number I want to transfer.

Dear Natalie, I did previously try “add a plan” and because not working I did try to buy a new plan like if I was a new customer, but my demand is rejected for unknown reasons (my credit scoring at Experian is excellent, my first plan with ID Mobile is already on direct debit and paid without any hiccup or issue, month after month.). so I am a bit surprised to be blocked...

Are you stating you’ve already tried to purchase a second contract and it failed?

when on ID Mobile website, after login to my account (my first subscription with ID Mobile, phone number 07460062084), I have found the option  “add a new plan”. So, thinking it was the way to go to add a second mobile contract, I did try. Then I have been blocked as described earlier. So I tried to start from fresh for my second line, like if I was a new customer. It did block me too. And this is where I am surprised, because I am already a customer, on direct debit, all payment made without issue, and my credit scoe (Experian) is “excellent”. I just want to transfer my existing pro phone (with Vodafone for more than 10 years) to a new plan with ID Mobile (a monthly plan rolling contract, unlimited data for 18GBP per month) that will save me around 20 GBP per month. Why can I no do that in a simple and straight forward way?

Hello! I have a second phone number under my name with Vidafone but my daughter is using it. She's 21 and woukd like to be able to manage it herself. I want to transfer her number to ID mobile  with keeping the number and register it to her name. How do I do it? Will I get reference bonus  with it?

OK, no problem ​@angelicamoor 

You will need to get a PAC from Vodafone for the number. Your daughter can take out a new iD plan in her name, and then use the PAC to switch the number over here - Switch | iD Mobile Network

And yes, if you are currently an iD customer, you can use our refer a friend scheme, but your daughter must purchase the plan through the link you are given. You can find out more here - Recommend ID Mobile, Refer Friends, Receive Cashback

But the number we have is registered to my name. Can she create an account to her name but use the old number that is under my name?

Do you mean the Vodafone number is in your name ​@angelicamoor ?

If so, this isn’t a problem, you can still get the PAC. Then your daughter can use the PAC to move the number over to an iD plan in her own name. The PAC is for the number only, no other details.
