I have a Samsung galaxy tab 9 FE and I am looking to get a sim card so I can connect to the internet outside of wifi. I already have a contract with ID for a phone, would I be able to piggy back a tablet to this contract or will I need to buy a new one?

In which case how would I do so? The phone sim card doesn’t fit in the tablet so I assume I would need a specific plan.
