Aspects on plan change query

I want to trade in my old phone for a new plan remaining with iD mobile. However, I would like to upload my data from my current phone to the new one. How long do I have to do this before trading in my old phone? Likewise, will this new plan keep my current phone number?

    If you're planning to trade in your current phone as part of your upgrade, please note that Currys manage the trade-in process. As such, they'll be able to advise you on how long you have to transfer your data to your new phone before your old handset needs to be returned.

     

    If you're completing an upgrade with iD Mobile, you'll keep your existing mobile number. Simply move your current SIM card into your new handset (or switch to an eSIM if applicable), and your number will remain the same.

     

    If you have any questions about the trade-in process or the return timescales, we'd recommend contacting Currys directly, as they'll be best placed to assist.
