can I switch to an eSIM when my current contract end?

My 24 month contract ends in November.

I’ve just bought the iPhone 18 pro And I’m paying that on finance from Apple. Would I be able to buy a eSIM with unlimited data when my current contract on my iPhone 16 runs out in November?

So I currently have an iPhone 16 on a contract plan with ID mobile until November, When can I end that contract and buy an eSIM for my new phone?

    Hi @tomcoyne10

    Thank you for your email.

Yes, once your current iD Mobile contract reaches the end of its minimum term in November, you can choose to end the agreement and move to an eSIM plan for your new iPhone 18 Pro.

If your contract ends in November and you do not wish to continue with it, you can contact us at that time to request cancellation. We recommend checking whether any notice period applies on your account before doing so.

Once your current contract has ended, you would be free to purchase an eSIM plan, including one with unlimited data, for your new handset. If you wish to keep your existing mobile number, you can also discuss number transfer options when arranging the change

    Thank you,
