Hi, I’m out of contract with ID and want a different plan but without changing my phone number. Is it possible to do this by keeping existing SIM and speaking with someone in Customer Services for them to activate the new service? Or do I need a new SIM and then get the number ported over? The Chatbot doesn’t like this Q 😁

Please note that in order to keep your current number with us, you will need to upgrade your existing contract.You can keep your existing SIM, so there is no need for a new one.If you choose to start a completely new contract, unfortunately, you will not be able to keep your current number, as the system does not allow an internal number change.The only way to retain your number with iD Mobile is to upgrade your old contract, which will convert it to a new contract while keeping your existing number.Thank you,ZandileThe iD Mobile Team
