Early upgrade offers and existing contract.

If I take 1 of the early upgrade offers with ID, will I have to pay the balance of my existing contract? Or does my new contract start and my old contract just end?

    Thanks for your message.

     

    When you take an early upgrade with iD Mobile, your existing contract doesn’t simply continue alongside the new one. Instead, your old contract is effectively replaced by the new upgraded agreement. Any remaining balance on your previous device plan is not ignored, and you may still be charged for any outstanding costs as part of your final settlement.

    In most cases, this is handled in your final bill, and depending on your billing cycle, you may also see a pro-rata adjustment for the partial month where both plans overlap.

    We are truly sorry for delayed response. Kindly note if you upgrade your old contract will be converted to the new one so you will be charged a pro rata amount.
