end of contract , hi ive had a year contract and is comming to the end. ive been asked either to stay , or upgrage. if i stay, will it remain on montly bases , or will roll on to another year . due to work commitment i would prefer monthly, not yearly. my current one is all inclusive £15. cheers

When your current plan expires, it will remain the same, however if you are looking to get better plan, you can get in touch with our sales team, either via Live Chat or call them on 0800 049 0250.

Hi Gemma , 

unsure how to enter the life chat here, can not see option . Do you mean if I stay with the same one and carry on , it will roll onto another year contract ? 
 

it’s due to my work commitment , I’d prefer monthly only . 
I am currently abroad, with very poor coverage , can not ring the number

Yes, that is correct. When the plan expires, it will not change. For example. If you are on a £15.00 plan with 100GB of data for 12 months, it will remain like that unless you change your plan or cancel. 

 

You are able to access live chat via https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat or follow the below steps:

 

1. From dashboard, scroll down and tap on "view all upgrade deals".  
 2. On the next page, select the box "SIM only deals". 
3. Scroll down and tap on "choose this plan" next to the plan you wish to proceed with.   
4. On the next page, tap on "continue" and follow the steps to complete the order. A card verification will be required. After completing this step, tap on "place order".   
5. You will receive an order reference number at the end.

I have entered the chat , and the bellow has come out 

 

Your plan will not automatically renew for another fixed term. When your yearly contract ends, it will continue on a rolling monthly basis, and you can keep using your current plan without needing to upgrade or cancel.

You are free to stay on your existing plan for as long as you like, or you can choose to upgrade, switch to a different plan, or leave at any time without an early termination fee.

 

does that mean my contract will then carry on on monthly bases now ?

I’m glad you were able to speak with one of our agents. Yes, what they advised is correct, your plan will stay the same and nothing will change unless you make the request to change it.
