Free Gift On Upgrade - can I change item

Hi All , I have 2 different contracts that are ready for upgrade. My wife and I are looking to upgrade to exactly the same phone and package. However , we do not need 2 chromebooks , which is what currently being offered as part of the deal. Does anybody know if it is possible for us to swap 1 of the chromebooks for something else? Many Thanks
