How do I switch my pay as you go plan to monthly bills please without changing my number?

Sorry, you can’t transfer a number from an iD PAYG to iD Pay Monthly account, ​@Yetunde.olojede

The usual solution is to temporarily switch the number you want to keep (from your iD PAYG account) to a different network, and then switch back to iD Mobile (your iD Pay Monthly account).

Get a PAC from iD (for the number you want to keep) and use with a new network (e.g. ASDA Mobile, giffgaff, etc). Once the number you want to keep is active with the new network, get a PAC to port back to your iD Mobile Pay Monthly account.

I’d recommend NOT doing this over the Christmas / New Year period.

I’m really sorry to let you know that our system does not allow internal number transfers. You can, however, transfer a number from a different network to iD Mobile, or from iD Mobile to another network. The only way to keep your current number with us is by upgrading your existing contract, which will create a new plan while retaining your old number.
