how to apply bluelight discount to upgrades

I am trying to upgrade from a commonly deal. I am getting one price through the app but can’t apply a bluelight discount code. Online I have bluelight discount code but ai don’t want it to create me a new account and and new number. Can you help me apply my bluelight discount to my current account?
