Question

how to change into grown kids name feom my account

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction

I’ve got 3 different lines , one is my own the other 2 are my kids , my eldest is nearly 20 and wants the contract to be in there name , is it possible to transfer? They’ve even said about taking the phone number from me and then transfer it back to ID when they get their own contract, again is this possible if the first option isn’t ?
 Thanks Craig

    Hi @Craigiow.

Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately, we are not able to transfer ownership of an account to another person, so the first option isn’t possible.

I would suggest your second option instead. Your eldest can take the number to another provider using a PAC code, and then transfer it back to iD Mobile under their own contract once they are set up.

    Thanks,

Thank you for your reply Marquerita , I take it that means we can can’t take the number and rejoin with there details straight away it will need to go to another network first ?

    thanks

    Hi @Craigiow,

That's correct. If you're looking to bring the number back under different account holder details, the number would first need to be moved to another network and then transferred back to iD Mobile using a PAC code.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to transfer a number directly from one iD Mobile account to another iD Mobile account.
