How to keep old ID mobile no on new ID contract?

I bought a new phone for my daughter for Christmas, so I had to take out a new ID mobile contract rather than upgrade from her existing ID mobile one, so she wouldn’t know.  I thought I’d just be able to transfer her old number to the new phone with a PAC but I can’t find an option to do that - help?

You can’t transfer an iD Mobile phone number between accounts; you’ll need to upgrade if you want to keep your current number.

You have two options available to you:

  1. Return the new contract and upgrade your existing account.
  2. Port out the number you want to keep to another network and then port back to iD Mobile.

Hi @Jujuw ,

Thank you for reaching out! You can absolutely transfer your daughter’s old number to the new phone using a PAC code.

To do this, you’ll need to enter the PAC code and the number you wish to keep from your previous provider, during the setup of the new contract or contact us via Live Chat for assistance. Our team can guide you step by step to make sure the number transfers successfully.
