    Hi @AbbyB89,

Thank you so much for reaching out regarding this, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

In terms of purchasing a new contract, you would need to have been with us for at least 3 months before applying for another contract.

This is because all orders are subject to credit and security checks, which are carried out by Equifax. These checks help determine whether an order is approved or declined, and unfortunately iD Mobile cannot manually override the outcome of these checks.

Making successful payments on time and maintaining an active Direct Debit on your existing contract can help build a positive payment history on your account and may improve the likelihood of future orders being approved. We would also recommend ensuring that your personal details, such as your name and address, are up to date and match the information held by credit reference agencies, as this can assist with the verification process.

Please note that meeting the 3-month requirement does not guarantee approval, as every application is assessed individually based on the results of the credit and security checks completed at the time of the order.

If your application is declined, we would recommend continuing to use your existing contract, making payments on time, and then submitting a new application at a later stage, as changes to your credit profile over time may result in a different outcome.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with today.

    Kind regards,
    iD Mobile Social Media Team
