if i upgrade from payg to contract phone do you port over my number

I'm with ID payg. Intend to upgrade to contract phone. Do you port over my number on new sim please

Hi @Hawcara,

Thank you for getting in touch. If you're currently on iD Mobile Pay As You Go, unfortunately we do not support internal number transfers between PAYG and contract accounts.

If you're on a SIM Only plan (1, 12 or 24 months), you may be able to upgrade that existing plan and keep your number. However, PAYG plans cannot be upgraded, so you would need to take out a new contract, which would come with a new mobile number.

The only ways to keep your existing number are by upgrading an eligible contract plan or by transferring a number to or from another network using the standard number transfer process.

Thank you for your reply. I'm currently on a m monthly contract.

If I upgrade, could I ask for a pac code for a transfer of the number to the new contract phone, when I upgrade. I like id and would be reluctant to leave
