is my old phone automatically unlocked?

I have just renewed my contract & upgraded my phone. I would like to know if my old phoned is automatically unlocked & if not how do I do this please?

We’re happy to hear about your contract renewal and upgrade, thank you for choosing us.

Kindly note that our phones are unlocked from day one, so you do not need to do anything, even after upgrading. This means your old phone should already be unlocked and can be used with any compatible SIM card without requiring any additional steps.
