Yes, you may still be eligible for the Refer a Friend reward, however it does depend on a few conditions being met.

To qualify, you must have purchased your 24-month phone plan or SIM-only deal directly through the unique referral link provided by your partner. This link ensures the referral is correctly tracked.

As part of the process, the referred customer (you) also needs to register through Aklamio, iD Mobile’s official referral partner, before completing the purchase. This is essential for the referral to be recorded successfully.

Please note that the referral would not be valid if the purchase was made through third-party websites such as Carphone Warehouse, Mobiles.co.uk, or any affiliate links that are not directly tied to the official referral link.

If the referral is valid and tracked correctly, the reward is usually confirmed after you have paid at least two bills. This process can take up to 120 days from the date of activation.

So he got a deal with ID mobiles, and recommended me, we both have a 24 month phone contract. He got his first but didn’t realize that there was a referral scheme until afterwards, I’ve got mine now but didn’t know if we can still get the referral bonus. Thanks

Thanks for getting in touch. 

For the Refer a Friend scheme, the order would need to be placed using the link that you provide them. Unfortunately, it can’t be added retrospectively once the purchase has already been completed.

Just to explain how it works:

• The existing customer generates and shares their unique referral link/code
• The new customer must use that link when placing their order
• Once the order is completed and meets the eligibility criteria (such as staying connected for the required period), the reward is then issued

As the referral wasn’t used during the sign-up process, I’m afraid it wouldn’t be possible to apply the reward after the fact.

Really sorry this wasn’t clearer at the time, but hope this helps explain how the scheme works for future reference.
