We're sorry to hear about the damage to your iPhone 16 Plus.

If the battery has been damaged or has swollen/exploded, we would strongly recommend that you stop using the device immediately and do not attempt to charge it.

You have a few options for getting it repaired:

• Contact directly to discuss repair options.
• Take the device to a Currys store, who may be able to advise on available repair services.
• Use a reputable third-party phone repair company.

If you have taken insurance for the device, we’d also recommend getting in touch with your provider to know the next steps.

As the damage was caused by an accidental drop, any repair would generally not be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
