Need a PAC code to leave ID mobile, but want to keep nunebr

Number*
(I have spoken to 6 different agents over the past week, and have received different answers)

Keeping things as simple as possible: I bought a new plan instead of upgrading my old sim. I want to keep my old number, but my original PAC code expired. My old sim is deactivated so I can no longer text 65075 to get a PAC code via text. I have requested one using the id app, but that is to switch to id, (I want to leave id) and I cannot request one to leave id, as the sim is disconnected and no options appear on the app.
As a result, I have spoken to several agents for numerous things; I have requested a new PAC code, which when I receive the email, says I have already requested one so I have to wait until that expires (still won’t work). I am aware you can’t switch internally which is why I am now having to switch network. I have scoured the id forum, but when people have the same issue as me, they are told to refer to their private messages, so I am unable to be helped via forums. Another agent suggested I cancel my new plan and upgrade my old sim, but no one has helped me do so.
I know my number isn’t lost, as they last for 90 days in the system, and my sim was only deactivated on 06/06/2026.
All I need is a PAC code to leave id mobile, and it is impossible to get. Can anyone help?

Hi @Wendylily

We’re sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve experienced trying to obtain your PAC code, and we understand how frustrating this must be, especially when you are trying to keep your existing number.

To clarify, we’re unable to transfer a number directly between two iD Mobile accounts. If a new iD Mobile plan has been created instead of upgrading the existing account, the original number cannot be moved internally onto the new iD Mobile plan.

If you wish to keep the number and move it away, the number will need to be transferred to another provider using a PAC code. If you then wanted to return to iD Mobile in the future, you would need to transfer the number back again. Please note this process may not always be suitable and could cause complications.

Regarding obtaining your PAC code, please send us a direct message through our social media platforms (Instagram or Facebook) so the team can review the account and provide the required assistance.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience.
