So I have a sim only for a 12 month contract, my upgrade is due on the 07/05/2026 since it’s been 6 months, does that also mean I can upgrade with Carphone warehouse as well to a device?

- iD Mobile SIM-only customers are typically eligible to upgrade after around 6 months, depending on account status
- Being eligible means you can upgrade your handset or change plan before your contract officially ends
- Your exact eligibility date will always be shown in the app
🔄 Check if you’re eligible to upgrade
1. In the same Plan section, scroll to Upgrade options
2. Tap “Upgrade your plan” (if shown)
3. The app will tell you:
- Eligible to upgrade now → you can proceed with an upgrade
- Not yet eligible → it will show the earliest upgrade date
