Hi @Hblee2083

Thank you for getting in touch with us, I am happy to assist.

Since your wife currently has a SIM-only £8 monthly plan with iD Mobile and has now purchased an iD Mobile iPhone 17 with unlimited data, there are two possible scenarios depending on how the new phone was ordered:

1. If the iPhone 17 was ordered as an upgrade on the same account
In this case, the SIM-only plan will be automatically replaced by the new iPhone contract. There’s no need to cancel anything the new unlimited data plan will take over, and the existing number will continue to be used.

2. If the iPhone 17 was ordered as a new contract
This means there are now two active contracts:

The existing £8 SIM-only plan

The new iPhone 17 unlimited data plan

We will need to access your wife account so that we can advise accordingly please send us private message.

Thank you,

Zandile
