New contract switch over

I was an existing ID mobile customer and have brought a new phone/contract through the website as it was a better deal than 'upgrading'

I am now looking to move over from this phone to my new phone, keep my same number and ensure I don't get charged for having 2 contracts. Please advise! I have an esim should I need it and also a PAC number but haven't started the process yet.

If you take out a new plan from our website or from a third party website, it's not classed as an upgrade. It's simply treated as a new plan, even if you're eligible for an upgrade. You'll also be unable to keep your existing iD mobile number in this way as we are unable to transfer plans and mobile numbers across internally . That's why we always recommend you upgrade via the eligibility checker and this will ensure that you keep the same mobile number.
