New Phone Order Upgrade

So Yesterday (18/11) I spoke to sales team, and found a upgrade deal and device. I Selected, my colour and plan etc and was then told to Choose White as this would guarantee delivery today (19/11) - I did and this was before 20:00. I contact teams via the online chat thing today, to get ETA and was advised phone is out of stock and wait till 28/11 and situation is out of there hands.  1) why sold me a lie, 2) if indeed sold out, why still available to purchase on site, and 3) Does 28/11 mean by then or will get it then?

Thank you for reaching out and explaining the situation. I’m really sorry for the confusion and inconvenience caused regarding your upgrade order and delivery expectations.
The device showing as available online while being out of stock can happen due to system updates, and I understand how frustrating that is.
The date 28/11 usually means the device should be back in stock by then, and delivery would follow shortly after.
