no upgrade confirmation

I placed an order for an upgrade to the galaxy 9a on Wednesday 2/4/25. I haven't had any email confirmation or money taken out. 

The 9a was showing as a preorder item, think it's available from the 11/4/25, could this be the reason? Either way, some help on this would be wonderful.

@danseastram2218 Hi there if the order is on pre-order, you likely won’t receive further confirmation regarding the order until it’s dispatched.

For further updates, I’d recommend calling the sales team on 02071391397

I've just paid for upgrade and can see its gone via my bank, but not had email confirmation. Please advise

Hi there - I am on a similar boat here with regards Google Pixel 10 Pro. Upgrade processed at the weekend, and £69 upfront cost come from bank account - but had no email confirmation or any other communication re. upgrade. My Account still lets me explore upgrade options etc. I did note that it may not be availalbe until 28/8/25 - but still expected some sort of confirmation.

Please advise if I should have received anything and if not, when I will receive?

Also2sox I'm the same. I ordered on 21/08/25 the money has come out of my bank but no confirmation or any emails at all 

 

I've just sent an hour on live chat to an agent who basically said that's right, you just have to wait for the he stock to come in. Once stock is in you get a confirmation and then a despatch.

 

Stock is allocated on 1st come 1st serve, I'm fully expecting my delivery tomorrow as it's still advertising delivery by 28/8 on the website right now so must mean they have more stock than orders so they can still guarantee.

The live chat agent said they couldn't confirm delivery as no stock currently on the system for them to check.

 

If the phone isn't delivered tomorrow I will be furious as it's false advertising when the website right now says delivery BY 28/8 still.

Hi,

Nice to know I'm not alone on the missing phone and information front. I placed an order on the 22/08 and was told the phone would be with me yesterday on the 28/08. No emails or text other than the pre contract information. Money taken from the account. 

All the live chat agent say is to wait 24 hour for the order as it's been "accepted"

I really do hope that something comes through today.

I've always rated ID and recommended them, lets see if it's the case after this scenario.

Did you receive your phone? I did indeed receive mine on 28th as expected.

I got the delivery noticed before I even got any emails from ID which is poor 

And I've had to come to the chat again to find out about the free £100 Currys gift card offer. If you got that promotion then it's 30-60 days after 3rd Sept 🙈

Why they can't send emails and communicate with their customers I have no idea
