You don’t have to wait until your next bill date to upgrade, you can upgrade at any time (as long as you are eligible).
If you do upgrade mid-billing cycle, you’ll receive a pro-rata bill. This means your next bill may include:
- Any remaining charges from your current plan up to the upgrade date
- Plus the start of your new plan from the day you upgrade
So it can look a little higher than usual just for that one bill.
If you’d prefer to avoid that as much as possible, the best time to upgrade is the day before your bill cycle refreshes. That way, there’s minimal overlap between the old and new plan.
