Phone number swich between two id contracts

I have taken out a new contract with ID Mobile through Carphone Warehouse and I have been attempting to PAC my existing ID phone number across only to realise I cannot do this. My old contract that is with ID was in my parents names so assumed there would be no problem switching between the two. looking to see if there is a way to swap without loosing my number ??

    Thank you for getting in touch. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

    Unfortunately, iD Mobile does not support internal number transfers between two iD Mobile accounts, so there isn’t an alternative way to move your existing number directly to the new iD Mobile contract.
