Hi @Linarahman96,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble getting your SIM working in your new phone.

If you've kept the same SIM after upgrading, please try the following:

For Android devices:

  • Turn the phone off and remove the SIM.
  • Check the SIM for any visible damage and make sure it's fitted correctly in the SIM tray.
  • Reinsert the SIM and switch the phone back on.
  • Make sure Airplane Mode is turned off.
  • Check for any software updates in Settings > Software Update.
  • Reset the network settings by going to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings (the wording may vary by device).

For iPhone:

  • Turn the iPhone off and remove the SIM.
  • Check that the SIM is seated correctly in the tray.
  • Reinsert the SIM and switch the phone back on.
  • Make sure Airplane Mode is turned off.
  • Check for any iOS updates in Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Reset the network settings by going to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

If the SIM still doesn't work in the new phone, but does work in your old phone, this may indicate an issue with the handset itself.

If the problem persists after trying the above steps, please contact our Customer Service Team via Live Chat so they can run some checks and arrange a replacement SIM for testing if required: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat
