There have been previous postings on this topic but it is still ongoing even though the previous postings were marked as SOLVED.

Due an update and decided to do SIM only. The “award winning” plans have no increase.

Sign up. Then reading the account details increases are shown. £1.80 each year (over 10% on the SIM plan I was going onto).

CS blame the government. Its mandated by them. Nonsense of course. Unless I was time travelling back to the 1970s when we had some prices/income price controls. Guy asks me to start sending some screenshots where it says no price increases. Really, you dont know anything about the products you are selling?

Old cotract reinstated. And byebye ID mobile.

I got a transcript sent to me. I suggest anyone talking to CS does the same thing.

Hi @brw1956

I have been with iD Mobile now for a fair few years on a month to month SIM only contract and have NEVER encountered a price rise.

If you have done sufficient research you will see that iD Mobile clearly states which packages will increase in cost year on year:-
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/price-increases

‘All SIM-only plans (including 1-month rolling and 12-month or 24-month contracts) and Pay As You Go plans are protected from annual, mid-contract price increases. By contrast, all 24-month Pay Monthly handset packages are subject to fixed or inflation-linked annual price hikes.’ !--tgqphd||[]-->!--tgqphd||[]-->!--tgqphd||[]-->

Can you include a link to the contract/package that you wanted to move to?
This information will enable us clarify the details.
